dribs and drabs

I’ve been home for a week now and quite frankly, I’m getting tired of the invalid lifestyle.

I’m ready to get back out into the real world.

Two more thank you’s….one to Jess, (who is fast becoming my oreo dealer) and to sanna who sent me this……

She picked up this lovely orange tray when she was in Italy this summer. I'm blessed with good friends.

In other news, I spend a lot of time sitting at my kitchen table looking out the big bay window. Yesterday, a huge blue jay flew smack into the window. He looked rather dazed but gamely picked himself up and flew away.

You see....this is what I'm reduced to..... a sad little story about a blue jay. I've got nothing exciting going on in my life. Unless you count the fact that I finally had the time to watch the second season of "Remington Steele" on DVD. I don't mind admitting that I am a HUGE fan of the show. And yesterday, I watched the Law & Order: SVU marathon. I thought of my sister-in-law who is home on maternity leave and watches L&O religiously.

And that reminds me....it's time for a Zach Attack. This week there were so many pictures to choose from that I'm going to post two for your viewing pleasure.

I wished we lived closer and that way we could watch those old series together, eat oreos, and dish about life all day long. Of course then we'd be the size of the barn and they'd have to tear down the door frame to remove us from the house.

I still wish we lived closer.

I'm glad you are healing. I know it is slow, but hang in there.

That bluejay was trying to get in the house! He obviously heard the rumors about you being a snake killer and wanted to see for himself.

Hoping the healing happens quickly!

Glad you got the plate! Now, the next box you receive in the mail can ALSO be opened before Christmas --- because the Christmas gifts are wrapped inside. Mwa ha haaa!
I do have to correct a bit and say that the tray was from SICILY specifically.
Do you have bird feeders out for the winged ones?

Can I just say that Zach is such a little ham? Those are some seriously cute pictures.

I hope you're feeling better! It's nice to have you back and blogging.

Jesus Christ! I just read the last bunch of posts. I very sorry to hear about your fall. Thank god you didn't hurt your head and neck. I hope you're okay. Let me know if you need me to "brain" a turkey for you for Christmas! ;)
