coming out of the dark

Hey you beautiful internet peoples!!

I’m back.

Back to work and back to blogging.

I’m a little cranky though.

So we are not going to discuss why I went dark.

Maybe someday when I’m in a better humor we can talk about it.

So let us do what Jen does best and just pretend it never happened.

Let us instead talk about important issues like:

1) The Dr. pronounced me fit to go back to work, so back to work I’ve gone. Everything has changed yet everything has remained the same. Does that make sense?

2) I spent the last week of downtime watching the final season of “The Gilmore Girls”. The DVD’s were a Christmas gift from SIL Jenny. I freely admit that I’m a HUGE Gilmore Girls fan and I was so sorry when they decided to end the show. I would totally move to Stars Hollow.

3) The Giants won the Super Bowl. We are NOT calling it an upset. They won fair and square. They simply outplayed the Patriots. Might I remind you that that nearly beat the Patriots during a regular season game?!

4) My Aunt Benita got married. Again. For the third time. No she’s not a black widow or anything. She’s just been unlucky in love. Here’s hoping third time is the charm!!

5) I got another box of orange. This time from my lovely blog friend Dana. Among other things she included Reese’s Peanutbutter Cup malted milk balls. They weren’t orange but the container they were in was a shade of orange. I had to hide the box from my husband who can sniff out any sweet at 30 paces.

So now I’m off to read and comment on your blogs.

So glad you are back!

And I thought of you when the Giants won. That was the best dang game all year!

Personally, I don't think the Pats deserved to be in the Super Bowl, but hey, I'm glad they got the pants stripped off of them...

Welcome back in the light!

I can't tell you how glad I am that you are back. Sorry to hear about your darkness but am I correct to assume that the sun is now, atleast somewhat, shining???

And yay on your recovery!!!! I totally get the whole "all is different but the same" scenario...

Woo Hoo! Glad you are back! And no, you don't have to talk about your secret escapade with "Paolo" the sexy pool boy if you don't want to. I know that's what you were really doing. Don't worry. I won't tell your husband.

WELCOME BACK!! We here in MN are just thankful that Randy Moss STILL doesn't have a Superbowl ring. *snort*

I bought something lovely and orange for you up at my favorite store in the Mall of America. I brought it to school so I could get the right sized box in which to ship it. Sadly, I dropped the item. It shattered. But I will be going up to the mall this weekend and fully intend on getting you another one. So be on the lookout next week!

Welcome back! I've missed you so! I look forward to nothing as much as reading your snarky comments on life. Totally selfish, I know. But at least I'm honest.

Welcome back Jersey!

Let's see:

1)Some part of you must be glad to have your regular work routine back
2)I have never seen a minute of the Gilmore Girls, but it looks like the kind of show I could kill a Sunday with
3)I have nothing to say about the Super Bowl.
4)Good luck to Aunt B!
5)Chocolate rocks.

So sorry to hear you've had some dark days. Miss Scarlett would be proud of your philosophy on dealing with it.

Glad to have you back on-line and at work. Things run much smoother when you're around.

Welcome home!!!

Robbie

Gosh, glad you're back. It's hard to go back to work after an absence, planned or unplanned.
How's the leg?

I like the phrase, "Welcome back Kotter." Loved that show! They don't make shows like that anymore, and we don't get cabel for reruns.....

Don't worry about Aunt Benita... three times is nothing. My nana has been married four times, and twice she eloped in Las Vegas. The last elopement was just three years ago. She was almost married five times, but that fiance went back on his promise to buy her a new Cadillac, so she left him.

True story.
