Things I like

I like Huey Lewis and the News.

I like orange pansies - Tom just brought home two pots. Hopefully the frost won't get them right away.

I like the smell of new books.

I like the smell of old books.

I like the first sip of a properly mixed fountain soda Pepsi. It's my crack!

I like British TV shows. Right now I'm watching "The House of Eliot". After that series is done I shall watch Upstairs, Downstairs.

I like high thread count sheets. I refuse to sleep on anything less than 600ct.

I like Scope mouthwash and Crest toothpaste.

I like Granny Smith apples.

I also like the Bee Gees.

I like Febreze Air Effects in particular the lavender vanilla scent.

I like a freshly sharpened pencil.

I like the weekends when I can go without putting in my contacts.

What do you like? Do we like the same things?

OMG, at first I thought you wrote that you like orange PANTIES, but then I realized you were speaking of PANSIES. Not that there's anything wrong with orange panties ... I'm not judging.

I like high thread-count sheets, too. And Diet Dr. Pepper. And how I feel after working out (sweaty but healthy). And your blog!

Forgot to add that I love the Bee Gees, too! You're the only other person I know who'll admit that.

Do you like . . .

New York Seltzer, peach flavor, little squat bottle?
Crisp new one-dollar bills in your birthday card?
Hogan's Heroes?

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who read PANTIES rather than pansies... then I thought, "wow, sometimes people don't care what they post on the internet." But pansies make much more sense.

I like the smell of books, too.

I love coffee. Anything coffee-flavored, or that has coffee in it.

I like British TV shows, too - especially the older ones. Have you watched "The Duchess of Duke Street" or "Lillie"?

I love pumpkin. All things pumpkin. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin roll, pumpkin spice latte (although they're always more spice than pumpkin), things that smell like pumpkin. There used to be this fantastic Pumpkin Pie bodywash at Bath & Bodyworks. I wanted to eat it.

I like the room cold and a thick blanket when I'm sleeping. I can't sleep if the room is too hot or my blanket is too thin.

I love strawberry Fanta.
