leap this

It’s Leap Day.

Supposedly, on Leap Day an unmarried woman can propose marriage.

While I would love to propose and marry each and every one of you, I am not Morman nor am I gay, so the best I can do is to propose that you have a lovely leap day.

REMINDER: Starting tomorrow, I’m going to be doing a list a day for the entire month of March and I welcome any and all suggestions for a list.

Wish me luck!

Is Leap Day really the only day that is okay for a woman to propose marriage? Seems a little archaic, doesn't it? And I thought women's lib had come so far!

I'm just about to do a list of "My Favorite Things" ala Oprah on my blog. You can do one of those in March!

I had never heard that before about women being able to propose on leap day.

Good luck on 31 days of lists. I considered doing it, but knew I'd fail.

Do a list on ways you can eat an Oreo. I would so take notes!

List suggestions:

--reasons to eat cake
--most popular stars (meaning burning balls of gas, not George Clooney)
--different kinds of yellow flowers
--Irish things (in honor of St. Pat's)
--and, of course, courtroom movies :-)

I'm doing the listing too- you convinced me! :)
Things to list:
Do you have any odd quirks?
Things you have that are orange
Favorite books
Movies that you love
Things you would want on a deserted island
Places you want to go
The top 5 celebrity list (you know, like from Friends?)

The ultimate one is "things to accomplish before I die"

Then there's music banned in Heaven or music that will definitely be played in hell. (Both of these are inspired by Candy Rant)

Then at the end of the month you can compile a list of lists that you didn't list. Or did.

That's all I got.
