itchy and scratchy

i just went in to have a quick conversation with my boss.

we were yelling back and forth and he kept saying "huh".

so i heaved my substantial ass up out of my chair and headed into his office to continue the conversation at a more respectable decibel.

i was talking as i walking so he knew i was on the way.

when i arrived in his office (taking all of maybe 7 steps), he was as usual behind his desk.

this is the fun part.

he was scratching his balls.

when he saw me he didn't immediately stop. he finished up his scratching.

he didn't even look embarassed to be caught scratching.

we carried on the conversation as normal.

but inside i was snickering.

ball-scratching does not bother me.

i have a husband.

he has serious itchy balls issues.

i understand the need to scratch.

but what i don't understand is WHY it has to be done in public.

and do men think that we don't notice when they are industriously scratching away?

He probably had no idea he was even doing it...lol.

Baseball players do it all the time, in front of the camera no less.

on second thought...he probably did realize what he was doing after you left. But he will never guess in a million years, that his little faux paux (sp?) would be pubished in a blog the second you returned to your desk. hahahah!

OMG LMAO...I used to work with a guy like this.

He did it ALL the time...I'm talking 7 1/2 out of a 8 hour shift. We used to all contemplate buying him some cream or something.

This is such a man thing isn't it? I mean I suppose it has to be since we don't have balls to scratch but you know what I mean. They are oblivious.

Yeah, but baseball players are likely adjusting their Cups, not scratching themselves. At least that's what my husband tells me.

That's just gross. I don't know why guys have to do this in public. Although my husband doesn't.....I don't think.

I love your new space and if I had the time and energy I would likely have moved mine as well. I'm a lazy bum sometimes however, so I'm staying where I am for the time being. Hope you have a beautiful week. Word of advice....never shake hands with a man after the all to casual ball scratching...eeeuuuw!

That is so gross. I don't know why men get a free pass to do that.

I had a boss that did scratched all the time. I really hated it. It was hard to keep my train of thought when he was sitting there doing that.

I work in the construction industry and I thought that was the only industry where ALL the men had itchy balls. My boss was constantly adjusting his balls and scratching at them. One day I finally grabbed my tits and bra, totally hiked them up right in front of him. He was stunned. I said "well, if you can do it, so can I." That stopped him.

My boss doesn't blatantly scratch he does that thing where he's supposed to be adjusting his zipper or something but he's no where near the zipper.

Of course that's better than when L used to lean up in his chair to give ample room to let a good one rip and then plop back down like it's a perfectly natural thing to do in the front office.
